Positive comments are not always good, and negative reactions are not always bad either.
For example,
- Parents mostly say nice things about their children even when their sons/daughters are spoiled rotten brats.
- Anger and negative feeling toward government corruption, abusive spouse and when bad things happen to good people are not bad at all.
Therefore, sometimes we must seek logical or fair way to think rationally and see situations in their true perspective.
